Valentine Goodies Stamp Camp

Can you FEEL the love??? These goody holders were so much FUN to make!! Can't wait for my Stamp Camp this Saturday! These are GREAT for your child's class, co workers, your hubby or significant other. What a fun and fast way to dress up a lollipop. Here's the info:

Valentine Goodies Stamp Camp
Saturday, February 2nd
1pm to 4pm
My House
RSVP by Thursday, January 31st!

You will get to make ONE Valentine's Card, the SAME one I made in the previous post w/the SUDSOL C&C (check out here for the recipe & close up) and your choice of 3 of the 4 Goody Holders in the picture. Your choices are (from left to right): Covered Conversation Heart Box, Peek-a-Boo Box, Covered Lollipop, or Criss Cross Box. Please let me know which 3 you'd like to make when you RSVP (by email or phone).

Here's a picture to show you what the Peek-a-Boo boxes look like when they're opened. I filled the red one with M&Ms and the green one with peppermint patties. It can only hold 2, but if these are for your child's class then that's enough! heheh.

If you are interested in buying these already completed, the email me and I'll send you the prices for each item. I will try and add them to my sales page.

Another SUDSOL Chat & Challenge (C&C)

I impressed myself that I was able to finish this card in 30 min. But I did forget a key element (that's why I had it done so fast lol) so I went back and added it in!! hehehe So probably in about 45 min hehehe.

This sketch is courtesy of Angel Wilde, check out her blog and her sketch.
I am a bit bummed that you cannot tell the pink butterfly is totally 3 dimensional! The kind that's folded in 1/2 so it looks like the darn thing landed on the card. Sigh... sometimes I wish I had a better setup for taking pictures. But I do realize I could have it MUCH worse! hehehe
Stamps: Happy Heart Day
Ink: Black Stazon, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Going Gray
Paper: Certianly Celery, WW, Ginger Blossom DSP, Rose Red, Ruby Red
Accessories: Silver brads, Uniball white gel pen, word window punch, coluzzle, corner rounder, crystal effects, sponge, aqua painter, white grosgrain

Here's the other C&C 102

Here's the other card for you to check out. I personally like this one as it has a lot more color!

Ink: Black Stazon, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, WW, Bali Breeze DSP
Accessories: Round Tab Punch, Double Stitched Pomegranate Ribbon, Felt flowers, Crystal Brad, Corner Rounder, Paper Piercer

SUDSOL Chat & Challenge

Okay so last night SUDSOL hosted a Chat & Challenge. There's one every month. You enter the chat room and check out the sketch they have for you to try. I was able to make 2 cards in 2 hrs. Kinda slow if you ask me but oh well!

I left the dishes and the mess on the table to feed my creative mojo! hehehe Here is the first card I made:

Stamps: One of a Kind
Ink: Black Stazon, River Rock
Paper: Cream, River Rock, Basic Black, Ginger Blossom DSP
Accessories: Lrg Oval Punch, Black Brads, Black 1/4" Grosgrain, Paper Piercer

You can't tell by the picture, which is bad btw, but the flower is raised 2 times w/the pointy petlas curved up. I will probably add some sakura gel pen bc I think it needs a bit of bling! heheh

So here are some notecards I made my sister and my SIL. I also made my little sister some, she likes lime green *ick* so they were made w/gable green. A BIG THANKS to Angie for giving me the nifty idea for these. She's got some really nice ones.

Why NO....

I don't go to sleep... can ya tell? heheh

I was just at the PTI release partay... hey I don't get out much so I gots to take any Partay I can gets! ehehhe

Anywho, I realized that I haven't posted much even though I've been ordered to so I thought I should get to it.
Here are the goodies I received from my secret elf... I think there's another picture somewhere, but I've lost it for good. The hot cocoa mix is divine and I don't let the kids have any hehehe. The chocolate is gone, vamoosed... I don't know what happened officer, honestly! I love the cards and 6x6 pages. I've already used the copper eyelets on the card below. LOVE my goodies!

And THIS card started out as an 'easy' card to send to my pet sitting clients for the holidays, but that didn't quite work out that way. Yes, it does have CONTRABAND on it... in the form of a NON SU stamp **tsk tsk**. But I couldn't help it. I saw the stamps on Lauren Meader's blog so I think it should be HER fault!! Totally!! There's not guy around to take the fall. She ranks up there w/my other heroes... check out her blog. Not to mention her UBER cool puppy Daisy. What a cutie pie!
I have another version of this card, but I've sent it to ppl so I wanted to wait until they received it before I posted it.

The card looks kind of faded but I'm not sure why! I used the retired Linograph BG stamp from SU and I LOVE that stamp! What a cool pattern. Everything else is SU except the dog and scalloped oval punch. The dog is Lucky, made by C.C. Designs and can be found at www.allthatscraps.com. I love that store!

Me & the Hubster!

Here we are! My upline, Tracy, **waves hey girlfriend** gave me a GREAT tip that if you stick your chin out towards a camera while taking a picture, it gets rid of your double chin.

Well, it didn't work for me on this pic but it did for my hubby. When I married him he had WAY more hair and a goatee... I loved that goatee. But when he became a reserve police officer, he had to get rid of the goatee (he didn't like himself w/a moustache) and he started buzzing his hair... the travesty of it all! hehehe

Have You Ever Heard of...

WEBKINZ... I think it's a secret organization that is INFILTRATING our youth's minds and getting them to control US! Yikes!!!

I cannot wait until Lgirl is old enough to play the games, work the jobs and make the money herself... how long do I have to wait?! Too long! hehehe

Okay, here's a quick baby card I had to make for my MIL the morning of the function... not too shabby if I do say so myself! hehehe All ingredients are SU!

I'm SO excited! All my SU orders have shipped, and I place the 2 of them a WEEK apart... wowzers! Can't wait to get them! Woo hoo! Catalogs AND Goodies are on their way!

I Have Been Commanded....

by the powers that 'be' (which would be my GIRL Dana! heheh) to post more pics of my creations, which I do admit has been pretty sparse lately. Sorry, but I find the whole upload the pics, crop the pics then upload to my blog tedious... but I will get right on it!

Seriously though, I do need to scan in the cards from the BIO group I was in so I can earn some FREE sudsol! I really do enjoy SUDSOL (Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing Online), it's a GREAT resource for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. So CHECK IT OUT!! Just be sure to tell them I sent ya so I can get some free time! hehehe

On that note, here's a card I made for a birthday party Lgirl attended in December. I try to take a part of the invite (if possible) and incorporate it into the Birthday card. This works well, esp. if it's a 'themed' birthday party. This one was... 13 boys and 2 girls, can you say YIKES??!

So, Lgirl got to be a Pikachu for a couple of hours! Not to mention she kicked some serious boy butt on Pin the Tail on the Pikachu and won the game! Bwahhh hahhahhaha*******
I will upload more and have more to share! I better start creating! hehehe
P.S. By the show of hands... how many ppl want to see what I look like? Interested in a pic of me and the hubster? hehehe **those who KNOW what we look like, keep'em DOWN!!**

Christmas ELF Swap

At the beginning of December, I participated in a Secret ELF swap that Robyn hosted (check out her blog HERE). Here are pics of what I sent my secret ELF, Debbie Yates. I could never access her blog, so I don't know if she liked the goodies or not. I'm going to assume so!

Let me know if you have any questions!

I made an acetate candy holder to hold some Ghiradelli chocolates (thanks to Lauren Meader for inspiration and directions!!) and altered a crystal light container to hold MORE candy! Her blog is AWESOME! Check it out!

Here are some store bought goodies for Debbie to play with.

And here are some goodies I made that I sent to her also. Let me know if you have any questions! I will be posting what I received from my elf here shortly. I thought I had the pics uploaded, but apparently not! hehehe

I've got two more days w/my parents before they have to head on home so I am going to try and make the most of it! Which means trying to get some pictures of all three of us together!

Ramblings...

because what else is there to do at 3:58 a.m. when you can't sleep??? Sorry I've been MIA, I had to have out patient surgery yesterday and am recouperating pretty well. Don't ask me tomorrow bc I'm sure I'll be in a bunch more pain. It seems to take my body 3 days before it realizes what happened and then I get to feel like a Mac Truck hit me! I'm saving the GOOD pills for then! hehehe

Any hoo, the new STampin' Up Catalog is now available to see online at this link:

Yeah, it's kinda hard to look at online (Don't start squinting DANA) so find a DEMO near you, preferably me if you are near me. And get a catty lickety split! I have 3 boxes ordered and will get them out to my Card Club members and others asap.

Here's the January Stampin' Up! Special:

And now I'll leave you with a picture we took of Lgirl and the 2 dogs I have... Gman was running around like a madman. Petey, my yorkie, wouldn't sit still and this is the ONLY pic I could get of him and Bourbon. He was having NOTHING to do with poor Bourbon. Who just wants to be friends.

Oh and don't try to play w/a large dog like Bourbon like you would a smaller dogs. You just end up with scratches 6 inches long, bruises on your shins or a sore nose w/watery eyes if you're REALLY lucky... and YES, I AM speaking from EXPERIENCE!!
I am going to try and post more these next few days. I have some posts that are backed up and yes some do include cards I've made! heheh Though I will be holding off on some of the cards, I am going to send them in to SU for something. HEy, A girl can DREAM can't she?! hehe
