Goodness...

where does the time fly? Has it been a week since I've posted? I feel like I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off! Yikes.

Okay, well here's the Christmas one my Stamp Club made the last meeting. I used it for a shoebox swap I was in last Saturday. I don't think some of the gals liked it as I made 14 sets and there were more than 2 sets left over. It involves a simple origami fold. I should have written some good directions, but i didn't have time. I did provide a diagram though. Next time, I will have a better card for the ladies.

It was my VERY FIRST Indy Inkerz meeting and I had a GREAT time! We met at Brook's house (awesome house, hubby and dog!!) and there were 12 ppl participating in the shoebox swap. It was supposed to be over at noon, but I didn't end up leaving until 1:30pm! There was some AWESOME food to sample. Kathy (head of Indy Inkerz) is spearheading a 2nd Annual SCS Gathering in November. I have a craft show that weekend (and the next TWO!) but I hope to help out w/making stuff they need and maybe even baking! I will have to find the cards and upload them so you guys can check them out! Some great talent out there.

Then I headed over to my good friend, Laurel's house, and stayed late into the night (I think 12:30am) and stamped with her. She fed me some pork roast w/sauerkraut and mashed potatotes and it was DELISH! Yummm!!! I had a lot of fun with her and got to think up a few things to make for the craft shows I'm going to be in in November.

Okay, I'm off to tag more baby clothes and toys for a sale that I'm a consigner in tomorrow. I will also be going to 'volunteer' (aka bust my booty from 3:30pm to 10pm!!) there tomorrow evening. The sale is held by the Moms of Multiples in Greenwood, Indiana, and is on Saturday from 8am to 12pm. I have never come on Saturday nor do I want to lol. Tooo darn busy for me! Let's just hope my stuff sells. Let's keep our fingers crossed on the crib! woo hoo.

We Interupt this Show...

so I can post a card (per my upline's request... Hi Tracy!!). I mentioned that my stamp club came over last week and made 3 Holiday cards. Well, I can't really post any bc the Halloween one went to a swap, the Thanksgiving one got SUPED up and sent to my last BIO swap (sniff sniff) and the Christmas one is going to go into a shoebox swap I'm doing this weekend when the Indy Inkerz get together for there bimonthly meeting! I'm so excited I FINALLY get to make it to one of them! woo hoo!

Okay, so I've sent off the Halloween swaps and now I'm going post it! Hope you guys like it. This was definitely the easiest of the 3 cards and needs no or very little explaining. All Stampin' Up ingredients. I cased the card from the Booglie Eyes gallery on Splitcoaststampers. Don't remember who's case it was, sorry about that. But I'm sure you'd recognize it if you saw it! hehee

So Easy....

to post regularly when you already have the pics uploaded, cropped and reduced in size. Amazing how easy it is! Well, hubby was supposed to patrol tonight but the deputy he was going to be riding w/was sick so he got to come home! If he HAD worked, then the kids would not have seen him since Sunday and wouldn't until Wednesday night. He doesn't like to do that but he's got to get the riding along outta the way asap.

So it's much easier to take care of the kids if we go out somewhere do something. Like a playdate (I belong to the local MOMS club) or shopping. Sooooo... Gman and I went shopping at Target while L was in preschool. Can I say I didn't find may frames (just ONE) but a lot of their $1 spot stuff was on clearance for 50 cents!! Can't beat that! Not to mention all their back to school stuff was on clearance too! I got some purple pens w/purple ink! woo hoo. hehee

Then we picked up L and headed over to Kathleen's for a playdate that included lunch. It was fun and longer than anticipated so we didn't get home until 3pm. Gotta love those days! hehhe

So here's a 2nd scrapbook page. It was Easter 2006. What a bunch of cuties. It was my least favorite of the 3 pages, but I did LOVE the carrot that is hidden behind the picture of both of them. It has a tag that says, 'Pull me' and has the journaling on it. hehehe What a GREAT idea! Hope you like it!

Artisan Awards

You know... I just realized that I never posted my entries into the Artisan Awards held by Stampin' Up! in March. At least I don't THINK I did... this could be wrong lol. That's how my life has been lately.



Anyhoo... I'm excited that I actually have a SCRAP page I can show you! hehhe Here's the first one, it's of Gman. Keep in mind I had only one week and a limited amount of supplies I could use!! I will be MUCH better equipped for the 'next' time around! I just love these pics of him, so darn cute w/that smile that makes most women turn into putty in his hands hehehe.

Okay, I've seriously got to get to bed. Hubby patroled tonight so it was ME all day AND night. And I didn't get a nap to boot! Sigh... he will also be patroling tomorrow night so the kids won't see him again. I think it will be 2 full days of no DADDY... wowsers.

My eyes are drooping. Night all! Sweet dreams!

Halloween Swap Anyone??

What a Month...

and it's only the 5th lol. This month is going to be VERY busy for me. I've got something planned EVERY weekend! Last night was my bi-monthly stamp club meeting. We usually do a technique or advanced folded card, but last night the hostess (hi traci!!) picked 3 holiday cards. I was going to post them, but I will be using the Halloween one for a swap I'm in and either the Pumpkin card or the Tree Fold card for another swap, I just haven't decided yet. So... I have NOTHING lol.

I did change to an update pic of the kids. They were playing in the kiddy pool on Monday, the last hurrah before Lgirl's preschool started. This first week she only goes one day (either Tuesday or Wednesday) and we thought it was yesterday and was geared up to go in the a.m. until I read thru the papers in her folder (last minute sally of course!) and found where it said she was going today! Well, we were 10 MINUTES late... and I was very frustrated. So, I have implemented a NEW school morning schedule and we'll see how it goes next week hehehe.

Okay, I am GOING to bed early... STOP THE PRESSES! I believe I am fighting a sinus infection, which would probably go away if I actually drank water regularly... I'm sure my body thinks I'm in the sahara desert or something. It's just so HARD **inserts whine here** our water tastes yucky and I hate to go thru 6 or 7 bottles of water a day lol. Sigh... I need to figure out something as I've had a sinus headache all day. Okay, I'll be good and drink a big glass of water (pinching my nose of course) and then hit the sack until Gman wakes me up. Maybe I'll get lucky and not get woken up??? HIGHLY unlikely!

I've got them all day AND ALL NIGHT tomorrow... any ideas on what we can do??? THe news I had is that my hubby used to be a reserve deputy for our county, but he's now switched to another city (closer to Indy) so he won't be coming home between the day job and the evening volunteering... THAT is why I will be home all day tomorrow w/no plans for the kiddos.

Oh and did I mention he switched jobs too? SO he's got a longer drive and now I have to figure out dinner by myself and have it started before he gets home... YIKES.. Nothin' like a little pressure here and there! Okay... sweet dreams everyone!
