Weekend Fun & A Sketch Challenge

My girlfriend, Laurel, who lives up in Kokomo came over to play for the weekend! woo hoo. I really LOVE it when we get to do this. It is so much fun and we really have a good time. She came over Saturday afternoon and left Sunday afternoon. Sigh... I tried to hold her hostage but she got away! heheh

While she was here, she taught me how to do the alcohol inks technique w/SU reinkers! It was a lot of fun and I did a lot of coughing while I inhaled 90% alcohol lol. But it was WELL worth the effort lol. I had Really Rust and Blue Bayou in mind for a card I wanted to do for a card.

I had hand drawn about 4 or 5 sketchs I wanted to tackle this weekend. I didn't get Beate's done, but I do have a card in mind. I was able to finish Anna's of Sassy & Sweet Notes.

Sassy & Sweet Challenge Card:
Here I wanted to finish up the Polished Stone piece and I kept with the same colors to use up all the scraps from the card above. I may start doing this as it leaves me w/less scraps! woo hoo!

Stamps: Wanted, Happy Birthday to You
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Bayou Blue, Really Rust, Stazon Timber
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Blue Bayou, VV
Accessories: Paper Piercing, brads, UNdouble stitched blue bayou ribbon, 5/8" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain, dimensionals
Technique: Polished Stone
