Got Catty's???

Ha! I FINALLY received my SU Fall/Winter Collection Catalog today AND my 2 boxes I ordered! Woo hoo! Beautiful catalog! Great stamps and some fabulous collections... no, I'm not biased at all hehehe.

Okay, I'm off to try and create... though I knew it wouldn't last w/the creating lol. I think I need to scan in a couple more triangle tri-folds for you to check out.

Look! Two Posts in 2 Days!

Wowsers. And I even made this card today for a birthday party we (as a family) got invited to. We were a bit late bc I was finishing it up lol. I think I really like these tent toppers and will be making more of them. See, Dana, I CAN use other pp besides SU lol. THough the text stamp is then *NEW* SU Hugs and Wishes (I think, they seem to be the trend of naming sets really close so that gets me confused). Oh and so is the paper and flower stamp. Thanks to NANCY who sent me a tent topper for my birthday and inspired me to give it a try.

It might even qualify for the new sketch in Beach Blogger Bingo... though it is a bit of a stretch. So if it doesn't count then that's fine too. I've need to make 2 baby cards and 2 name frames, a belated 21st bday, a belated 40th bday, not to mention play with pick a petal since I am having my Hostess Appreciation Par-tay on Tuesday. Okay, I'm off to bed early... can you believe it?! hehehe

A Three Poster Night!

You guys are getting spoiled! hehehe Anyways, just a quick New Catty update! Someone (one lucky gal!!) received her Fall/Winter Collection SU Catalog yesterday (Wednesday). Can you believe it?!

Anyhoo... she tried describing the whole catty (which I HOPE to get on Monday!). We are getting Textured CS (you are going to love it DANA! hehehe), not to mention flowers and some 1/2 pearls for the centers. Aptly called the 'pretties' kit. Also a 'make your own brad' kit, which confused me but we shall see!

There will be the same gingham ribbon, *new* taffeta ribbon, *new* double stitched ribbon, same 1/4" grosgrain and *new* 5/8" grosgrain. NO more cording!

There will be 35 (yes I typed 35!!) punches. Some of the new ones? A star, scalloped circle, photo corner, 5 petal flower, designer label, 3/16" corner rounder, and snow blossom.

We will be offering a cropadile.

A lot of new Patterned Paper. Oh I can't wait! woo hoo hehehe. HOpe some of you guys are as excited as me! Okay, I'm off to bed! Sweet dreams everyone!

I *HEART* Baroque Motifs!!

Can I tell you how much I LOVE Baroque Motifs? My upline thinks it is hilarious bc I wasn't going to order it and she talked me into it. Seriously folks, card making doesn't get any EASIER than this!

I mean seriously... how often do I post more than one MAYBE two cards I've made???? THis could actually be a FIRST! hehehe I made 4 invites (yes that is pitiful) for my hostesses for my Hostess Appreciation Par-tay. I forgot to photo them (of course!), but I made two others that are similar (one for my GREAT MIL) and another to have as an extra. See how easy it is? You can't see the Sakura gel pen I used on it very easily bc I couldn't get a decent pic with my digital camera. There are just a couple of colors it has a hard time figuring out. Namely purple (it photos as blue) and the pomegranate (it photos as burgundy).

I had to run Gman into the doc on wednesday only to find out he's got ANOTHER double ear infection. So I wanted to make a TY for my MIL who waited around for us so she could take Lgirl home w/her and have her stay the night. Usually that happens today, but she has to work one weekend about every 2 months and this weekend is it!

I also made this really cute 3x3 Thank YOu card. How darling is it? SO quick and oh so easy! I have gotten an order for TWO name frames, both of which will be wedding gifts and I am planning on using the Baroque set.

WEll, I better get some shut eye! Hope you guys enjoyed this MULTI card post, but don't get used to it hhehehe.

Goodness that 3x3 looks like it is on steroids or something. I assure you it is a cute card! All supplies are SU (the NEW CS no less) except for the stickles on the flower centers and my handy Sakura Gel pen. Easy peasy!

Hi! I won Blog Candy on Julee's blog... Poetic Artistry (GREAT blog BTW). She sent me some FAB K & Co. Paper and some MM flowers. LOVE the stuff.

She also has a lot of fun things going on regularly like a sketch challenge and right NOW we are playing BEACH BLOGGER BINGO!! I LOVE bingo. I haven't won yet, but hope to soon hehehe. Now I did finish this card earlier, but had problems w/my scanner so here's my sketch for the BEACH BLOGGER Bingo! I think it is an UGLY CARD, but I wanted to do one with the sketch and it did take me a while w/the cutting and rocking and rolling! hehehe

Here it is... most cards are cooler than mine... Esp. Dana's which is really neat.

Wedding Matchbook Favors

Oh I forgot, I had uploaded these pics and forgot to post **hangs head down** shame on ME!!

Here's a pic of the wedding favors I helped with for a customer. They are matchbook favors with a real sand dollar in a plastic bag on the inside with their info on the inside of the flap.

Almost everything is SU, I think the paper, ink and stamp set (Do THe Hula) are, just not the brads (MM) nor the flowers (MM, Walmart & Primas). Ribbon is from walmart or michaels or joanns. Shon (my customer) had purchased most of the flowers before hand. She had also purchased paper, but it had a white core so we could not use it. Enjoy!

River Rock BG?

Hey all you People out there w/your FALL PREVIEW stuff already... is this like the River Rock color? Is it close? Or am I WAY OFF and looking like I'm a bit 'sick' hehehe. Saw this and thought it tooked a bit like RIver ROck so I thought I'd try it. I don't have my goodies yet, I am getting them on the 18th so I am waiting ever so patiently... **as my foot is a tap, tap, tapping!!**

Oh and I took an update pic of the kids, not as cool of a pose as the current one, but as close as I could get them. Gman doesn't seem to take direction all too well. So much of a MAN already. Thought I might get to 'mold' him a bit but I guess I'm fighting a losing battle when I come up against Genetics! heheheh I'll get that posted right quick here!

3rd Tri-Fold by Jessica Crawford

WOW... I can't believe it's been a WEEK again... longer actually or is it shorter? hmmm... sometimes I'm so clueless I think my white hairs much be blonde! Yikes! Summer just makes us so darn busy! And we don't even go on vacation! I pet sit so I think I started 'Summer dogs' on May 22nd, had a one week lull and down I've got dogs until the end of July. Mostly staying at my home (I can't get to people's homes w/a 17 mon old and a 4 yr old, not to mention the OUTRAGEOUS price of gasoliney!).

I've got a rottie pup visiting now who is testing my patience! He'll go home Father's Day and I've got a schnauzer coming on Saturday for a week. Then I pick up a Shih Tzu on the 25th who will be staying with me for THIRTY FIVE (yes, I did say 35) days. I don't know if he will remember his mommy when she gets home! I may have 2 Shih Tzu's and a long haired Daschaund staying a week if the woman gets the okay from her hubby to bring them up from Nashville, Indiana in brown county. That's about 1 1/2 hrs away. I was referred to her... yes, I am THAT GOOD... hehhe Just kidding. I have an acre fenced in that gives doggies free rein to go chance chipmunks, squirrels, bunnys and dig up moles if they get THAT itch. THough I've had no takers as of yet.

I will be taking a care of 4 mastiffs the first two weeks of July. I will visit them once a day to feed them and they can go in and out as they like. Love those big dogs! I just really don't want to go thru puppy training... so tiring and time consuming lol. I think we can wait... Oh and I've got a kennel full of Labrators to watch to for a week in July. My client breeds the European line and they are fun too.

2nd Tri-Fold by Krystal Kuckenbaker

I wanted to post a 2nd tri-fold before I went to bed. I had 2 customers over tonight to help them design some wedding favors. A matchbox fold that will utilize the 'Do the Hula' set on the front and hold a sand dollar and their wedding info on the inside. It was a lot of fun designing that one.

Here's the 2nd tri-fold card from my BIO Swap (and these are in NO particular order at all)! This one is made by Krystal Kuckenbaker.

This card uses the Petals & Paisley stamp set all Demo's received from SU for Christmas. What a GREAT Christmas Present.

Okay I'm off to bed. It is supposed to get to the low 90's tomorrow so I think we will be spending most of the day outside in the sprinklers. Boy do my kids LOVE water! hehehe

Criminey...

has it been over a week? Well, can I tell you the last day I post my nose blew up (figuratively speaking lol) and I went to the doc on Friday and found out I have a bad sinus infection. I kept telling DH to take Gman in before memorial day but he didn't think he needed to go. Then I told him to take him to med check on Monday to no avail. Both my kids are not very sick when they are sick. Hardly any symptoms at all. Just a little fussier and wanting to be held more. I thought at first it was molars, but after 8 days of runny nose (sometimes yellow) I decided to take him in this past Wednesday...DOUBLE EAR INFECTION again! Poor boy!


Then today was Lgirl's 4th birthday. Where does the time go? My goodness... I can remember when she came into the world. So I've been racing like a mad woman doing stuff for that. Made cupcakes and had a couple of kids over for lunch and 'party games'. It's so funny watching them pin the tail on the puppy hehhee. She doesn't need much but grandma went a bit overboard w/the princess stuff. What can I say? She's the only granddaughter. Gman doesn't make out nearly as good, but it's harder to buy for boys... clothing is a major bummer! No cool stuff at all.


I'm in a By Invitation Only (BIO) Swap that started last month. THe card we had to make was a triangle Trifold. I am going to start posting these, one a day so you guys can see all the awesome cards. We were to pick our favorite and that person won a prize.



I will list the creator and try to get a pic of the inside too. I am going to try something new and scan them in vs. taking a pic and having to upload and then reduce the size. Here' s the first card by Sharon Einstein. I was seriously thinking about buying Roses in Winter and then it went on the retirement list so I was majorly bummed. I still might try and trade for it. Would love to have it or even just borrow it... hey ... maybe I'll ask my upline! hehehe
