Wow, sorry it's been so long. The end of February was rather hectic with school functions and life in general.

Here's a card showcasing the Amazing Family stamp set from the 2013 Spring Catalog. I really like this set and am looking forward to using it for Mother's and Father's Day cards!

A Sketch Challenge

I have wanted to start participating in some sketch challenges. There are so many out there! I am a big follower of Mary Jo over at Techno Stamper and thought I would start with hers. She does a Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge. Awesome blog with some great cards. Love her work!

My intention was to post it Friday, but the kids came down with the flu and it completely slipped my mind. Here's the sketch:

I have seen this WOW done on a previous card and wanted to try it. The butterfly on the right is punched from Baja Breeze DSP. It doesn't look like it from here though. :(

Teacher Valentines

Here's what I made for my son's teacher and the secretaries in the office. These were surprisingly quick & easy. Loved that about them! I got the idea from Jill's blog. She has such a creative blog & I check it regularly for inspiration & to see what she's up to. Sorry the picture is fuzzy!

Be Mine Valentine!

Happy St. Valentines everyone! We've been busy here making Valentine's for both kids' classes. I prefer the non candy/sugar valentines so here are the valetines each child made. They are oldies (saw them last year) but mine hadn't made them yet.

L's valentines are friendship bracelets. We found the awesome text HERE (as well as the idea and G's valentines too!).

And here are G's valentines. He was worried the girls wouldn't like the bugs, so we taped organic lollipops (from yummy earth!!) to the backs of them. I'm sure all the girls will like his Valentine. 

Here he is looking quite proud of his Valentines. We had to go on a bug hunting expedition since the ones I ordered online wouldn't be here until tomorrow! :(

Hope you a wonderful day! I'm just so thankful that it will be near 50 degrees today. That's a good enough Valentine's gift to me! I remember one year it there was an ice storm. Yikes!

This was my entry for the SUDSOL Sale-A-Bration Swap. I picked using the DSP and Ribbon for my card. I made some with Tangerine Tango and Pool Party Ribbon too.

Hello! What a night of storms here in Indiana! I received a tornado warning on my phone at 2:30a but I don't keep my phone in my bedroom when I sleep. So we slept right through it. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing!

Here's the Birthday Invite I made for my son's party. Nothing big, we just invited 3 friends from school to come with us to Incredible Pizza Company (which indeed incredible and overwhelming at times!) to eat, play and eat some more! My D got to bring a friend also and Grandma came along for the ride.

I love the Owl Builder Punch with all it's versatility! I found this penguin online and knew I had to make Gman's invites. He loves penguins.

Sale-a-Bration Has Started!!

You know... I meant to post something on Monday and the week has just flown by! How does it do that? Anyways, Sale-a-Bration has started with Stampin' Up! I love this yearly special. I LOVE getting FREE stuff when you were going to buy some stuff anyways. Can't beat that!

The choices this year are awesome. The Designer Series Paper is beautiful and so is the Ribbon and Button Combo. I think Pool Party is going to be really popular this year.

I have a card that I made for the SUDSOL Sale-a-Bration Swap, but I haven't received the other cards yet. So I will show you a card with a NEW Birthday stamp set from the NEW Spring Catalog. We'll be making this card Friday evening at PMS Night!

Happy New Year!

Stampin' Up! Has a GREAT Valentine Promotion. The kids and I will start thinking about what they want to make for their Valentines to give to their classmates. We might use smarties or possibly pencils. I have some gum left over from Holiday Crafts so we can always decorate those & give them out. The possibilities are endless!

I've been busy making my swaps for two swaps I'm in with SUDSOL. It's a website for Demonstrators to share cards & 3D projects they make with other Demos. I'm taking part in TWO swaps; the Spring Mini Swap and a Sale-A-Bration Swap. Can't wait to share with you guys! There are some really cute things in the Spring Mini.
