Diaper Cake

Here's a picture of the Diaper Cake I made for a baby shower last weekend. It was a lot of fun to make and I will be offering these for sale. They will be custom made and the price range will be between $25 - $40. They can be either 2 tier or 3 tier and have hidden 'goodies' on the inside or not! The sky's the limit. If you are interested in one, please don't hesitate to send me an email!

Birthday Wishes and RAKS

I thought I'd do this all in one post. I received a couple of RAKs (random act of kindness) that I have been meaning to post AND some BRAKs (birthday random act of kindness) that need posting too.



The black & gray card is from Simone, aka Spazzgirl, who's blog I stalk REGULARLY!! I love her awesome sense of humor and her uber smart son... I can only hope mine grows up to be that stinkin' smart!!

The apricot appeal card is from Mamma Kim, I will have to find her blog and thank her... love the card and I just might have to case it!!


This card (along w/some basic grey paper, a paper origami kimono and a pp sweater) came from Judy (aka pianolady 1026 from the SCS Blogger RAK club). Thanks so much for the goodies! LOVE them!


This birthday card is from Heather... I love it too. So pretty and made w/2 of my favorite SU colors!!

I was going to write last but not least, but I realize I forgot to post another birthday RAK so I will be posting that later. As soon as I can get a picture anyways. This card is from Tammy, very pretty and springlike. I really like it.

Final 2 Pages of Accordian Book

Name Frames seem to be in high demand here lately. And I get to make them! hehehe I should have a picture of one of them shortly. Then I've got to make 2 more. I also have a friend coming by and I have to get her started on 100 baby announcements for her daughter. They are going to be soo cute. I cased a pic from cambria turnbow... just because she's SO great. Check this link out, it's a pic of the announcement for a girl. we're doing boy ones. Wish me luck on how they turn out!!

Top O' the Morning!

Here are the next 2 pages in the accordian book. I used the letters in SPRING to determine the # of pages in the book.

So darn cute! I have a workshop tonight, so I 'm trying to get my card kits ready. Yes, I seem to be Last minute Lucy here. What can I say? I work WELL under pressure! lol The kids and are going in for haircuts too! woo hoo!

The weather has been SO nice! DH came home early yesterday and dug (and tilled w/the baby tiller we have) out my strawberry patch for me! I wanted to get them in before the rain so they could get a nice bath! The only problem is my order came with 50 plants and I only had room for 24! Yikes, what do we do now? I thought of putting them into a pot and donating them to L-girl's preschool plant sale fundraiser... but will they last until the 5th? Can I plant them into dixie cups (the bigger ones)? Or do I need something bigger? Questions, questions! I gues I need to call my girlfriend who's a plant girl lol.

Now we just have to get the asparagus in and plant some more seeds into dixie cups! I will take a pic of them so you can see them grow... it's so awesome how a little water and sunlight will actually stimulate a seed to grow. Sorry, I don't get out much ! lol

Goodness, I can't believe it's been a WEEK since I posted! Yikes!

Well, let's see what i have that I can post.

Okay, here is an Accordian book I made last spring with pics of the kids. I should probably do it again this year. L-girl's growing is not as noticeable. (I think she has grown 5 inches though!!) But goodness is G-man's pics ever so different! Will think about making one for the Grandma's. If I could get on the ball and make it in a day or two! hehehe

Did everyone get to enjoy the FAB weekend we had? WE went down to G-parents yesterday as Gma and I were invited to a lia sophia party. L-girl went with us and was pretty good. It's amazing how worked up a kid can get when they're around a more (I guess the nice word is exciteable) exciteable child. Cousin Vicki did want to take l-girl for a week to help potty train jocelyn since she did go potty right after l-girl did... TWICE!! That just goes to show ya... the influence of an older child around.

HOping today is beautiful again as we've got friends coming over for a playdate and I'd like to get some clothes out on the line to dry! hehehe.

Sorry it's been a while...

Sick kids can do that to you. Then I decided to try my hand a the new artisian awards SU is hosting this year. So I had to make 5 cards, 3 scrapbook layouts and 2 3D items. So I went to bed at 3am this morning and woke up at 5am... not much of a night huh? I am falling asleep as I type! hehehe. Anyways, I got to the post office and overnighted it (due date is 5pm tomorrow! yikes)... nothing like waiting until the last minute! heheh

Last weekend I participated in VSN, Virtual Stamp Night, on splitcoaststampers. I was only able to complete 4 projects what with a sick baby at home. I am happy to say my altered bandaid tin one on of the challenges! woo hoo! I was so excited. So I will be posting what cards (and the tin!) that I did make.

First off I will post the tin. It was supposed to be an altered tin w/pp in a 'survivor' type of getaway kinda thing. So I listed a bunch of stuff I'd have in itl. Hope you like it!! hehehe

p.s. I hand drew those pink lines on the white flower.... they look So professional! hehe The purse is a nugget purse.

Okay, so last night my computer wouldn't let me post the kid's pics so I did it today. It is GORGEOUS outside! No rain in sight yet (we are supposed to have it for the next 4 days... on and off!). But alas I cannot enjoy it too much. Gman woke up w/a 102 fever last night at 2am... we got that down with meds but didn't go to sleep until 4am and then was back up at 5:30ish.

You know it's going to be a BAD day when you go to bed when your hubby is getting up! YIkes!

Anyways, here's an easter 'cute' image swap I was in and couldn't for the LIFE OF ME figure out what to do with it. So I procrastinated until Monday evening (I work well under pressure lol) and I had to priority (ouch) it to her as it is due tomorrow. I think it is the hearts on the cheeks that did me in... and I thought I was a cutesy kinda gal... NOT hehehe.

So I hope you like my glittery bunny hehehe.

p.s. I think I plan on altering a few of those tins. They aren't my favorite color so I'm hoping some of my *NEW* basic grey papers (when they come in! ) will match and I will make some nifty teachers gifts for easter for Lgirl's preschool teachers. It could be a dream... but I might be able to get on the ball with that lol.

Oh and I took some GREAT pics of Lgirl on her trike 'wheeing' down the drive way on it hehehe. Will have to post (or maybe even... dare I say it?? SCRAP them and then show you guys! hehehe). We will see!

ETA: I think I have a limit on my daily pics and I think I've hit it! Yikes the EAster card will have to wait.

Here's a card from a while ago. Did I mention that I LOVE poppys? My girlfriend, we won't mention her name (HI Dana!!), thought I didn't use any stamps but SU. Not true, not true.

In fact, I got this stamp at the rubbah show that came to the Indy convention center last year! Since it will be here this weekend and I will have to miss it this is in 'commemeration of it!'

I also met a good friend there, laurel, who I first met on a MB and then got to meet in person since she was in Kokomo so that's right down the road! woo hoo!

I LOVE this card and it's probably time for me to make some more as I am low. I was trying the 'shattered glass' technique, but didn't want to have to do the UTEE thing 4 TIMES IN A ROW on 12 CARDS!!! Yikes! Not to mention I am a bit heat gun handicapped.

Here's L's mailbox... I LOVE the cupcake stamp. Just so darn cute! One side view and one front view. I also took a pic of the cupcakes I made. Which tasted great and were a recipe I got from someone's blog... can't for the life of me remember... does that mean I read too many blogs hehehe.

Happy Valentine's Day! Hope everyone had a great day! We were all snowed in here, though DH went out errand running w/L for a couple of hours. Here's a pic of a cardinal family we had in the backyard. Yesterday there was a total of 6 cardinals and their mates out there PLUS one woodpecker! woo hoo hehee.

Here's what G's hair looked like today. I've never seen it like this before and he didn't go to bed with a wet head either... can you believe it? lol He kept squinting from the flash. Does this remind you of Pippy Longstockings or what? Boy I'm dating myself arent I?! hehe

Does it make him look chinese or what? I will have to send it to my mum and ask if he looks like Great Grandpa in Taiwan hehehe.

Here are two mailboxes that went into the mail to MI today. At least I hope so! FOr my girlfriend's gals. They are really sweet. Inside I put a shirt, pair of socks, 2 lollipops and a piece of chocolate. Hope they like it!

Can you tell I don't have much red Valentine's paper?! I made 3 other mailboxes last night. One goes to my SASS w/a reveal (which reminds me I forgot that lol) and one I made for a girlfriend in town. It was a white one and of course I forgot to take a pic of it!

I will post a pic of Lainie's tomorrow and a pic of the cupcakes I made. So darn cute!

Remember...

I just became an SU demo and I do enjoy it, I just have a hard time asking ppl to host a workshop. I took over my upline's client list, which means I need to make some calls... also a hard thing for me to do!

Anyways, I received for xmas an ink caddy, which I LOVE but it does make my ink pads look rather pathetic and shows all the pad I really need. Can I state AGAIN how much I LOVE my markers... they are truly life savers lol.

So I have uploaded some cards from my pre SU DEMO days, one was for Shape swap, one for a Texture swap and the other is a simple SU card w/REAL sewing (none of this 'faux' stuff) on it . Now... if I can just figure out how to show the pics lol.

Looks kinda sketchy but here they are! heheh I will post more later.

Oh and G's still sick, but on the mend while L's caught the cold bug (I swear she must have sneezed at least 50 times yesterday!!). So she missed school this week :( but we switched w/a classmate so she will get to be leader (and treat bringer!!) next thursday... wooo hooo!

It's only a matter of time before I get it... I can feel it like a monkey on my back! Or should I say a tickle/scratch in the back of my throat?! hehehe
